About CHM

CHM International Academy belongs to CitySmart Education Group from Canada with over 15 years of development experience in Vietnam. The Academy was founded in 2012 with the goal of building a completely new model, incorporating “learning – operating – connecting jobs”. The goal of CHM is to train future Hotel Managers in the field of Food, Tourism and Hospitality in Vietnam and the region.

Enthusiastic faculty and management, with international experience in the field of restaurants, hotels and cuisine at CHM International Academy, will create motivation to learn and promote talents for future students. The learning environment is equipped with the most modern facilities including classrooms, kitchen, baking area, restaurant, sample hotel room on site. David has over 10 years of experience in the service and hospitality industry and he joined CHM as Manager cum Trainer since 2015. Before beginning his career in CHM, David worked as managers in several hotels & service residences such as Calidas Royal Residence Hanoi, Keangnam Landmark72, Sunway Hotel Hanoi, Vinhomes Service Apartments.

David Naudin was born in France, where he obtained a Hospitality and Catering Higher National Diploma. He then moved to the UK, London to start his working career, from river cruise, to world famous museum brasseries, fine dining restaurants, and eventually into hotels as F&B Operations Manager for 5* hotels. He then realised his passion for education and completed his teacher training, whilst working as Operations Manager. Strong of many educational managerial positions and Master (MSc) in Hospitality, Business and Tourism, David has now decided to join CHM to develop transnational education between Europe, Asia, and North America, and industry partnerships.

Mia joined Hotel Management programs in Sweden and Belgium Universities and worked as the Vice President of Hoa Sua School of Economic and Tourism before joining CHM Institute in 2017.

With her natural ability to bring energy and enthusiasm to motivate students and drive them toward success, Mia has helped hundreds of students to start their career in the hospitality industry and also trained many staff & managers for different 5-star international hotel brands. She is currently CHM Institute Director.

Maya Hoang

With 20 years’ experience working in HR field in many companies, Maya is now the Institute Deputy Director cum Hospitality Management Lecturer of CHM International Institute. Her professional experience not only supports her in operational sector but also allows her to provide CHM students with professional knowledge and practical examples of human resources management in the hotels. She believes that the supportive knowledge as well as real examples absorbed in CHM would benefit students in the position of manager in the future.

Tina Chu

After successfully graduating from Hoa Sua School of Economic and Tourism, Tina has been working in the F&B industry for nearly 15 years as Food & Beverage Lecturer, Catering & Tour Operation Manager and Restaurant & Hotel Manager. Passionate about the industry, Tina also participated in the Bachelor and Master of Business Administration courses at National Economics University, as well as international training courses in Belgium, Luxembourg and Sweden. With her experience in F&B coaching and operating, Tina is now a Hospitality Management Lecturer and Hotel Operations Consultant at CHM. She is known for her attractive, passionate and energetic teaching style.

Linda Pham

Hospitality Management Lecturer

Linda started her career in hospitality industry in 1993 and has been through a variety of Housekeeping managerial roles in famous hotel management groups such as Daewoo, IHG and Vingroup before joining CHM as a Hospitality Management Lecturer and Hotel Operations Consultant in 2016. With 25 years in the industry, Linda has a wide range of knowledge as well as practical experience in organising, managing and operating Housekeeping department. Many of her students have been mature and successful in their career and even some of them are running their own hotel chain.

Anna Nguyen

Hospitality Management Lecturer

Anna graduated from the faculty of Hospitality Management of Hanoi Open University in 2012. She then had great opportunities to work for different international organisations such as Enfants du Mékong (Children of the Mekong), Humanitarian Service for Children of Vietnam and ChildFund Vietnam as Program Coordinator and then Program Manager during the period of over 6 years. With her broad knowledge and great understanding of the service industry, Anna is now a Hospitality Management Lecturer cum Student Service Officer at CHM.

Culinary Arts Program Manager

Camaron has more than 15 years of experience working and teaching at KOTO Vocational Training before transferring to the faculty of Culinary Arts for CHM International Institute. His knowledge base is a subtle combination of multicultural culinary culture. “The art of culinary arts is a passionate subject of passion for the profession. The characteristics of this industry are meticulous, patient and skillful from the stage of selection, raw materials to the finished products to the customers “, says Camaron. He had great merit in spreading the fire and career direction for the generations of CHM students.

Culinary Arts Lecturer/Chef Quesa Doi graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Paris, majoring in Boulanger & Baking Arts and Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality, majoring in Professional Cookery. With her natural ability and years of experience at different five-star hotels, she has participated in and achieved many culinary awards such as Cup for Best Dessert & Gold Medal for Live Making Dessert – Vietnam Culinary Challenge 2019; Representing Vietnam to perform Vietnamese Desserts in Russia and Korea in 2019; Top 10 Most Delicious Dishes at The Street Food Festival 2017, etc. She is now working at CHM as a Culinary Arts Lecturer specializing in Bakery and Pastry with the hope of guiding and training students to become professional Pastry chefs in the future.

Matthieu Lagarrige is originally from Southern France and spent 15 years working there as a pastry chef. Matthieu is a talented chef who holds different certificates in the fields of Pastries, Bread, Sugar Art, Traditional French Bread and Food Safety. Matthieu has his own bakery in France, named Pain Jole.

Born in Hanoi, the cradle of culinary and cultural traditions in Vietnam, Lily has always been passionate about cuisine since she was a little child. After graduating from Hoa Sua School of Economic and Tourism, majoring in European, Asian cuisine and French pastry, Lily decided to work at her beloved school as a European Cuisine Teacher to enhance own personal skill set and knowledge base. With 20 years’ experience in the industry, Lily is now joining CHM as a Culinary Arts Lecturer to share her knowledge and passion to younger generation.

Culinary Arts Lecturer

Yestin is known for his roles as a Vietnamese Culinary Artist, a Culinary Consultant on Hanoi 1 and VTC2 Channel, and also a Culinary Arts Lecturer of CHM International Institute. With more than 20 years of experience working in various hotels and restaurants throughout Vietnam such as Asean hotel, Horison hotel, Huong Sen restaurant, Paramount restaurant, Marriot restaurant and so on, Yestin is an inspirer for his students on the way of becoming a Chef.

With more than 13 years of experience in the field of French Pastry, Ms. Nghia is currently the Business Owner of Tuan Nghia Cake Company which provides bakery products for many restaurants and hotels. During the years of teaching and working, Ms. Nghia is always a person who inspires the next generations and leads them to success. Currently, Ms. Nghia is working as a Culinary Arts and Baking Arts lecturer at CHM International Institute.
